Procreate Posters #01/xx

One of my deepest passions ever since my days as a child is drawing art. In my elementary school years, I was very in tune with this hobby, being a member of my school's art club for 3 years. It was during this time that my art was celebrated and encouraged, but of course as we grow up, certain things change, including hobbies. To make a long, winding, story short, I eventually found my way back into my creative side and design as a whole. In my design journey, I purchased an iPad and Apple Pencil in an effort to be more productive and efficient in my designs and tap into my creativity on the go. Via social media, I stumbled upon the iPad application, Procreate, and quickly fell in love with the creations I was seeing from other users and the potential creations I could make (would be lying if I said it didn't partially influence my sudden need for an iPad). Regardless, it did not take long for me to hop onto Procreate and learn about the software and its tools as best as I could, through YouTube, Instagram Reels, and flatout trial and error. I am proud of my poster designs, and having shared them with my social media followers, friends, and family, I have decided to share some of my favorites with my Behance community. Here they are and I hope you enjoy!

My first ever set of posters. Wanted to create a poster that spoke about duality, spirituality, and turning negativity into positivity. Experimented with 3D on Adobe Illustrator and it lead to this.

Inspired by hit TV show 'The Sopranos' opening theme. 'Burn' and 'Shine' made using Adobe Illustrator and the rest of the design on Procreate.

My take on the cover of music superstar Tyler, the Creator's fourth studio album, Flower Boy. I am a huge Tyler, the Creator fan so I really enjoyed creating this piece.

Was experimenting with bubbles on Procreate and it led to a mock album cover.

Wanted to create a poster speaking about duality, the notion of two things, seemingly opposite, coexisting in balance and harmony to create something beautiful. The visual representation that first came to mind was the yin-yang symbol and I worked off of that.

Wanted to create a poster with the message of taking control of the things we are in control of, such as our health, emotions, reactions to situations, manifestation, and, as said in the title, taking steps towards your individual paradise.

Wanted to create a poster that spoke about not letting the fear of failure stop you from chasing your dreams.

Wanted to play around with some graffiti and it led me here. The gradient colors used for the background were based off a suggestion/challenge from my best friend.

Wanted to make a poster celebrating Earth Day and spreading awareness about climate change, littering, species going extinct, and the rest of Earth's issues in a lighthearted way.

All of these designs were meant to have different messages rooted in positivity, self-growth, spirituality, duality, and all having the common thread of encapsulating the human experience. My hope is that I make people feel something, hopefully positive, from my artwork. This has been one of my most favorite pasttimes and I am ecstatic to have rediscovered a passion of mine, drawing, in my adult years and to be in a position to be able to share my creativity. I am looking forward to my next projects and can not wait to share them with you all!
