I found myself feeling unfulfilled before finding UX design. I have always been empathetic, creative, and solutions driven, but very rarely been in a position to let my qualities shine. On top of the aforementioned, I am passionate about accessibility, have a background in psychology and customer service, and have an eagerness to learn skills to help me grow personally and professionally. With all of these qualities, UX/UI is a passion that I wish I had discovered years ago.

I have a background in psychology so I am no stranger to problem solving, conducting research, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and getting and sharing results. I understand the importance of UX research informing critical design decisions throughout the design process. UX research reinforces putting the user’s needs first. It is important because it adds context to the user’s needs, giving essential insight into what direction the design should go.
