I was tasked with coming up with a t-shirt design for a wedding that is taking place in Australia. Now the groom is from/the couple lives in Chicago, but the wife is originally from Australia. So I had to find a way to blend their story of their union into a t-shirt.
When coming up with a design based off of my client’s brief and specifications, I wanted to find a way to blend elements from Chicago and Australia. One thing in common was the unique stars in their flags, which I not only blended flag maps of, but accented the design with on the front and back of the design.
I again accented the back with the Chicago/Australia stars and honestly, what’s more Aussie than a kangaroo?!
